The materials are very cheap and it feels like these stands won't last at all. My main problem is that the clip threads are not standard. So you have to use the horribly flimsy plastic clips that come with the racks. They're barely holding the SM58, which is the only mic it should hold firmly. I use tape to attach the mics to the clips to keep them from slipping out. And you can forget shock absorbers for any condenser mic because you just can't use them on these stands. Finally, you can save your money and buy a good one or buy twice if they break once. If you use them for karaoke or whatever then they will be fine I think.
