I actually bought the medium and large in a black tie top and zebra bottoms, as the bottoms are tight I wasn't sure what size would fit. I don't like it when your muffin is too tight on top. I wear size 29 jeans. The big butt is almost perfect, just a little big but it was very flattering. The mids were only slightly tight, so I went for the highs. The tie top is great for busts of different sizes. I'm 36B, large fits me, but will also fit someone much taller. The whole costume is cut very flattering, which I wasn't really expecting.
