The keyboard tray is small but overall a great product

I have tendonitis which I have controlled with my office supplies for years. Now that I'm working from home, my office isn't perfect! So I ordered this monitor mount to help with ergonomics. It's very nice to be able to easily switch from a sitting to a standing position! All movements of this product are great! I like the different ways to set up the station, which really helps not having to sit in one place all day. You can customize it in many different ways: you can change what people see in the background during a virtual meeting, or you can align the keyboard by tilting your hand so that it's directly in front of you when typing, or so move it around . The mouse is closer when you use more than the keyboard. All in all, this is a great product! It's relatively easy to assemble. Directions were easy to follow. My only issue with assembly was that one of my monitor mounts wouldn't fit easily into the monitor arm and I had to use a hammer to get it all the way into the socket. My desk because it has a ledge on the back so I didn't have a flat surface as big as the mounting plate, so I had to extend this ledge with pieces of wood to get a big enough surface to attach the clamp. Tuning Process: When adjusting the tension of the lever, it took some force to turn the tensioner and it didn't seem to tighten no matter how many times I turned it. I ordered new monitors for this purpose and specially ordered lighter monitors. My 2 monitors weigh 11 pounds total. It took many turns of the tensioner to tighten, but it did. I was just nervous about over tightening and breaking something. There are two things that I think could be improved. 1. The keyboard stand is too small for me. It should be deeper and could probably be an inch or two wider. I use an ergonomic keyboard so my keyboard hangs over the edge of the tray leaving very little room for my mouse. It also doesn't have enough room to move up and down if you need to use any kind of wrist rest.2. Monitors can bounce a bit when you type or switch from mouse to keyboard or vice versa. I type very fast and sometimes my hands and fingers can feel a bit heavy and the monitors jump. Also, I really like this product.

Pros
  • Monitor stand
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
