I read a lot of conflicting reviews about these types of batteries and decided to try this brand myself anyway. I've used premium, high-capacity AA batteries in my Xbox controllers, which have worked well, but I wanted something better that was easier to charge and a little easier to swap out of the controllers. I've only had these batteries for a few months, but they're holding up great. I once had about 14-15 hours of continuous use of one of my batteries while playing Fortnite, but I replaced it with a new battery before the controller died, thinking I'd had enough. Please note that these are NiMH rechargeable batteries, that need to be handled/loaded properly. to avoid memory problems or overload. I've dealt with a lot of batteries in the radio business for many years. I would advise fully charging the batteries when you first receive them and then using them in your controller until the voltage drops to the point where it cuts out and the same charge/discharge cycle at least three times to get the batteries back into working conditions and help them take on the full charge. I then try to use the batteries for at least 12 hours or more before putting them in the charger and flip them over to make sure one doesn't stay in the charger longer than the others. NiCd and NiMh batteries can cause a memory effect that can be reduced or avoided by fully discharging the batteries before recharging. For example, if you only use them for 4, 6, or 8 hours before plugging them into a charger, they can develop a memory and only charge until they only last 4, 6, or 8 hours before dying. It sucks when the game controller turns off in the middle of a game, but I'd rather use my batteries for 15 hours before that happens than every 4-8 hours.
