Goes great with Cot

About 11 months ago I bought two of these sleeping mats for my 4 and 6 year old nephews to use with their cribs when they sleep over my house. They wash well and keep their color. I'm trying to warm my 22 month old son to the idea of sleeping in a full size crib so we're starting to sleep with one of these sleeping mats on the crib. He likes to cuddle and cuddle for a bit before I put him to bed. For the past month, this routine has helped gently remind him to pass out and sleep outside the crib. He looks forward to lying down on his pile rug. CAREI uses a top loading mixer (I have that!) and I hang the mats on the shower rail to dry and turn on the vent/fan. They take about 24 hours to fully dry but I find that the quality of the fabric and colors are retained because they haven't been exposed to the heat of the dryer. I've also noticed that some reviewers complain about fabric pilling, so I avoided the dryer as it's often the culprit. ProsQuality: The fabric quality is very good, warm and cozy, no pilling. With proper care, colors will remain vibrant for nearly a year after purchase. Trolley Cover: The trolley cover is a pretty clever feature for attaching a rolled-up rug to your suitcase. Compact storage: because they are easy to roll up and close with Velcro. I can store them neatly in a closet CONS The pillow is small and bulky so not very ergonomic. The width is good, but the pillow needs to be longer and flatter so that the baby's neck is not unnatural. I have noticed that my son does not rest his head on part of the pillow but instead leans down slightly which lifts part of the blanket over his face. When I have time I plan to remove the padding from the pillow and sew it back up to solve this problem.
