Great if you pay attention (tips included in the review)

Great product and it does the job well but mass production means it has a few imperfections that will need ironing out on installation. I wrote a set of installation instructions in my review to help you find a good fit. I hope this helps because it's definitely a good, useful product that looks good too, so it's worth giving it a little extra attention to make sure it works for you. long dividers - you place the divider where you want it, let the spring stretch to slightly hold it in place, and then insert and tighten the Chicago screws; Now the length is set and will not accidentally change. Between these and the silicone bumpers at the ends, the long dividers sit very securely, which is great as the short dividers require a bit more planning and finesse. First, almost all short spacers have small hardened blobs of paint or varnish on them that you will need to sand down a bit. Second, the grooves in the long dividers are not cut very deep, so you need to make sure they fit very snugly. (It's not difficult because, like I said above, those Chicago screws and silicone bumpers help a lot.) Here are my installation suggestions for a perfect fit: Step 1: Sand the edges of all short dividers to avoid denting, blistering, or small hardened drops. Step 2. Carefully and carefully place all of the long and short dividers in the drawer exactly how and where you want them, but do not insert the Chicago screws into the long dividers yet. Step 3: Mark the exact position of the long dividers with a thin pencil. Step 4: Remove all but one of the long dividers at the end (left or right end doesn't matter as long as it doesn't hit the drawer wall). Step 5: Move this divider 1/16 inch, no more no less (you will LESS your overall width by 1/16 inch). Step 7: Place a long baffle on the other side (exactly on the mark you made) and place and tighten a Chicago screw in this baffle to hold it nice and tight. Step 8: Place the remaining long dividers on their marks and press the short dividers into place - this will be a snug fit because you moved the first one and that's the point. It may require some skill, but you can do it. Step 9: Place and tighten all of the Chicago screws in the long dividers so they are nice and tight. Hope that helps! Much luck! Once you understand what I'm talking about, how to make everything cozy, you'll come up with your own tips, but that's just the beginning. I took this a step further where I used a long divider against the left and right sides of the drawer and then I cut short dividers for a REALLY tight fit.
