Thought I would have to spend a lot of dollars to replace the key and program it for my 2000 BMW 528i. My key fob looked terrible and the buttons were starting to wear out. I was so happy to find this product. Removing the old knobs was a bit of a chore, but you can do it with a little patience. Putting a new one in isn't difficult, but I found I had to cut off the little red rubber tab that I assume is for the indicator light and trim a bit where the chip is located in the fob. Now my key looks a lot better! I'm ordering another one for my worn spare key.
