Anything above yes. I was able to dry my entire head about twice as fast as usual, my hair was HUGE when I finished and it was easy! I say order the big ones if you're afraid they'll get tangled. I definitely see how the little ones can get stuck. I ordered a 2 1/8 5 piece set and am in the process of ordering another large barrel for the rear. I highly recommend it!
