A visually appealing rug with a bumpy surface to trip over

This is a reasonably good rug, but ultimately not my cup of tea. My wife bought this rug to match the decor in two of our bathrooms. In that sense, they're pretty cute. Visually, the colors are reserved, but clear, which I like very much. Even after multiple washes, the colors have not blended and still appear to be the same as they were when we first touched the rug. The material itself also feels nice, soft and a little thin. The material also seems durable; We have had these rugs for a number of years now and despite the occasional wash they are still in pretty good condition. Unfortunately, this rug has one major flaw and one minor flaw. The slight downside is that it doesn't have a lot of traction on the underside. It doesn't slip just because you walk on it, but it doesn't take much effort to slip it either. It didn't turn out to be a real problem for me, but it's something to be aware of. The main disadvantage is the "pebble" design at the top. They're raised above the main surface of the rug, meaning you'll feel those gaps between each pebble as you step on it. It's an uncomfortable feeling underfoot and I think most people would agree. The height difference is not critical, but noticeable. I would not recommend this rug to any family with people prone to tripping or imbalance due to this uneven surface. I probably wouldn't buy again.
