MOONQUEEN Plus Size Microfiber Fleece Sherpa Wearable Blanket Hoodie is warm, soft, and fitted. A few years ago we were obsessed with blanket sweatshirts because they provide incredible warmth in our draughty old house. Last February there was a terrible snow and ice storm in Texas and we were without power for a week. People literally died from hypothermia. I don't know what we would do without our hoodies but they kept us warm all week. They are made from the soft plush microfiber that many blankets are made from. They are machine washable and tumble dryable and hold up great. So blanket sweatshirts are cut like big, long sweaters, sweatshirts. They are deliberately very large. This allows you to layer layers underneath and tuck your feet into a hoodie when lounging on the couch. They have ribbed cuffs on the sleeves that prevent cold air from entering the sleeves. They are long – depending on your height, at least to your knees. They have large hoods to keep the head and neck warm. This jacket has a short, velvety pile on the outside and a very soft sherpa imitation on the inside. The Sherpa fabric stores body heat perfectly. It also has a large kangaroo style pocket on the front to keep hands warm and hold cell phone/remotes/tissues etc. I especially like the outer lint on this one because it doesn't trap pet hair like a microfiber fleece. And best of all: It is much cheaper than many other hoodies without sacrificing quality. If you want to save on heating bills while keeping warm, this is a great solution. We practically live in it in the winter.
