I read the reviews before purchasing this shoe and hoped for the best. The size was as expected as I wear a half size so it runs a bit large. When I first put them on, I noticed that the hard rubber connecting the top and bottom seemed to dig into my arches. They don't have much support so I felt the full weight of the stones as I walked on the stones. As another reviewer mentioned, the insoles come loose as soon as the shoes get wet. Another disadvantage is that the lace that tightens the shoe digs into the back of the ankle along the Achilles tendon. I lasted all day in the shoes but I wasn't happy with them. I was happy to knock them down. I have to say they look very nice but as I described before they are not very comfortable. I wouldn't buy them again.
