Overall I can't say a bad word about the product itself as results can vary from person to person based on their own beard texture, density and skin sensitivity. What I can say positively is that the product smells good and it's not that bad. It's not harsh or overfilled with bad ingredients that can ruin a beard. However, there are more natural products out there, and I encourage people to spend what they think is best for their beard. On the negative side, the packaging of the product is terrible. I'm not sure they know better than to wrap oil-based products in more paper or more eco-friendly packaging, but believe me, when the product's oil ends up on the labels of these things, after a while it sucks. The oil will destroy the tag leaving little traces of the green tag everywhere making it difficult to get in, groom your beard and go out during the day. Shea Moisture has a line of argan/moroccan oil/moisturizer/scalp shampoo with much better packaging and you should take care of yourself in that regard. The beard balm is THICK too thick in my opinion because it clogs my pores and clogs my hair follicles. Every time I took a break from it, I was fine. Within a day or two of using the balm, the skin under my beard became dry with inflamed hair follicles and I had to use a bentonite clay mask with steam and careful monitoring to avoid irritating the skin. But like I said, this can vary from person to person. Beard wash is probably my favorite, although moisturizer was at one point a daily item for me. Browse around and experiment a little based on ingredients and real-time unbiased reviews. That's the best advice I can give.
