Seems like a good idea
Not sure if this will keep my cables from snapping. They appear to allow the cable to flex almost as much as without them. I haven't had them for so long so time will tell. I will update the information as I use it over time. a few months. After a while they miss the cord, which doesn't make them that great. I won't buy them again.
