Review on πŸ’‘ URPOWER Indoor Motion Sensor Light, 60LM LED Closet Lights - Battery Operated Under-Cabinet Lighting - Stick-Anywhere Wireless Night Lights for Hallway, Stairs, Entrance (3 Pack, Cool White) by Ronnie Polk

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Requires relative darkness for motion detection

So I installed these lights in a pantry that had no lights. They're not very bright, but I assumed size and battery life wouldn't affect them. They're easy to install/charge and the magnetic stripe is a really cool bonus. Nothing complicated. What is not stated in the reviews I have read, and what is answered incorrectly in the comments, is that these lights require a reasonable degree of darkness for the motion sensor to work. If there's light in the room you're working in and it hits the sensor, motion detection won't work, period. This was NOT explicitly stated in the product description and is the only reason for my bad rating. I would not recommend these. If you have sensors too close together and are trying to use more than one because they don't emit much light, good luck if both work. I also found that the detection range was a bit short. I have two above the door in this storeroom and when I enter they activate. My daughter or sons who are slightly smaller than me are not suitable for this. The packaging seems to say they work at quite a distance, but I've found that they don't, and now that I think about it, it's probably light pollution interfering with the infrared sensor. I really wanted this to work and I'm sure it's a great solution in the right place, but it's not as good as advertised.
