Holds so much water I don't have to run to the faucet to refill after a few naughty cat sprays. We bought 2, one for each of us so we can say NO, don't do it, leave it alone etc. across the room when our teenage cats ask for it. They have a good range - about 15 feet at most. They emit a triple jet so the bad guy gets a good splash of water and with enough power that he notices and stops what he's doing. The triple flow is dense enough to bring water onto them and not the surrounding area, although the closer they are to the Alphafire blaster, the better off. Neither of them licked until a curious cat dropped them or pushed them off the table. Both still work fine, we just lay it down on a cloth to catch a bit of leakage and protect the finishes.
