When I opened the box and felt the fabric I was very disappointed. I would return it for a refund but I'm so pissed off I don't even want a refund. I would give it a negative 5 stars if possible. I should have known I wasn't going to get the kind of quilt I wanted at this price point, but the reviews seemed to be mostly positive and I figured Eddie Bauer products must be good. I think I'm about 20 years too late to be true. I actually have some of those cheap but durable blue moving blankets that are softer and smoother than this "blanket". It's also quite thin, but very stiff. It's not soft, smooth and comfortable at all. It must have been made from the cheapest fabrics available and looks only vaguely like a blanket from a distance or in photos. I don't know how many threads the fabric has, but it has to be very few because the surface is very rough. of course, and it's all hard. If you need a moving blanket, there are cheaper options. If you want a nice, soft and comfortable duvet, look elsewhere.
