Review on 💡 Westinghouse Lighting 7224200 Comet - Stylish Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light in Matte Black by Greg Floyd

I've been looking for a sleek matte black fan that doesn't look dated or bulky for a long time. I bought this fan spontaneously one night and was pleasantly surprised. The setup was pretty standard. I used flush mount. Personally I think the marble side of the fan blades looks cheap but the hard side looks great so it's a good idea to offer options. The fan looks great and doesn't wobble at all! Before I fully installed it I figured it would because I could wiggle the base no matter how hard I drilled the screws. The light is also stronger than expected after reading the reviews. Works well, at least for the bedroom. The only reason I give this fan a 4 out of 5 is that the airflow is not as strong as I expected. However, this is enough to create a pleasant breeze. If you need very strong wind, this is not your fan. Will definitely consider buying 2 more for other bedrooms when the time comes. *** YEAR 4 UPDATE: *** My review update from 4 to 5 begins. I fucking love this fan. Almost 4 years ago I bought this fan for my master bedroom, 4 years later no problem. When I first bought it I didn't think there was an LED fan option so I had the regular version. This time LED is the only matte black available. But I'm willing to upgrade both of my guest rooms with matching fans, so I'm doing it. As I'm about to buy 2 of these, I see a similar unbranded ceiling fan that looks EXACTLY the same on Revain and is $30 less. I love deals and who doesn't. Instead, I'm buying almost two of these, and it's odd enough that the seller only allows one purchase per buyer (I've seriously never seen that), so I see this as an opportunity to check out Westinghouse's 'new' LED fan this matching fan without comparing a trademark. I'll try to be brief, although the quality of the products varied slightly, they definitely still felt the same prior to installation, and they had the same installation process. However, after installation, I felt that the Westinghouse fan was a quality product worth the $30 price difference. If you pull the chain to an unbranded fan, the case with the bulbs wobbles a bit, it doesn't feel as solid as Westinghouse's. Also a fan of Westinghouse House in SO QUIET. The non-proprietary fan made a small hum from the engine, which I personally can't stand. The more I listen to these two, the more I want to return the unbranded one and buy one of these, but it sounds like such a hassle to remove and return. Learn from my lesson! As for the LED backlight, yes, it's bright! Brighter than the regular LED bulbs I put in my first Westinghouse fan. But it seems like the perfect brightness for a bedroom. It's not too yellow or white either. It's just the perfect setting. I am actually moving to a new house in 5 months and 100% will buy 3 more of these for my new location.
