Love these jars. This is an investment for life. You can pass them on to your grandkids and they can still use them. I love the fact that they are made in West Virginia, USA by a long-standing family business. Of course they cost more than plastic junk, but they work so well, are kind to the environment, thanks to the ingenious spout and the really airtight lid. No more gasoline dripping on the floor of your car on the way home from the train station. I have two and they are my two most treasured possessions in the garage. And I have very few valuables in the garage. If it were safe to keep them in a living room full of gas I would keep them there purely for their build quality, provenance and utility.
