Review on Hannspree Hanns G HW 191D Widescreen TFT Monitor - Wide Screen, Premier Quality Display‎ by Jus Hood

Unfortunately it's going back. I ordered it from another seller. The DVI input failed, forcing me to use the VGA input. Now I know I just can't stand widescreen. None of my desktop images are stretched to full screen unless I resize to 1280x800 with natural quality loss. The other annoying thing is playing a commercial widescreen DVD movie and getting stuck with silly mailboxes at the top and bottom of the picture. I hate this. In short, nothing looks right on this monitor. I only give 3 stars for the case design. I replace it with an Acer AL1917. For me there is no more widescreen. What good is it if widescreen movies don't fill the screen?
