After suffering severe bruising on the inside of my ankles on both feet in December from new boots, I decided to look for cushioning options to wear in my snowboard boots to hopefully manage my pain better. I was a bit skeptical that they would help but decided to give it a try as it was cheap and I'm certainly glad I did. The only difficulty I had was preventing any part of it from slipping under the snowboard socks when putting them on, but this is inevitable and has nothing to do with the product. Once worn the gel definitely provides a good barrier and protection for the ankle bones (both sides) and stays in place all day. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and they have helped me sit on board pain free for 10 days!
