Do not use these blades for packing or painting.

To be honest, GENERAL gloves, magnets (you should feel all your magnets anyway), snuffers and squeegees are a pretty good deal. But the blades suck. Use for service purposes only (coarse cutting/non-critical work) and not for stock stacking or fine trimming. I've experienced jagged cuts from nicks and dull spots and forgotten about performance, which is a pain in the ass anyway. I put this set in my production tray to try it out. a quarter into my bandage, I wondered why I was struggling with EVERY cut. I grabbed my OLFA blades and have no problem. I mainly wrap commercial vehicles so I can get away and bury a few "edge" trimming issues here and there, but why risk my (your) reputation by not buying from a trusted brand. The price difference is negligible as your material cost including tools (tool and material price divided by 1-20 depending on tool life) should be included in your price (even if it's a DIY project). Anyway lesson learned.
