Small and does not hang on the wall
I hung it on the wall. Used a command hook (as recommended by other reviews) that held 5lbs and the bag weighed about 3lbs (weighed it). Came home 3 hours later and the bag was on the floor as was the hook but the sticky part and the back of the hook was still on the wall. I've used them for heavy items like bags and wallets in the past with no problems, so all I can do is make the bag's design look fun. This might be fine for light items, but not for things like books, magazines, or documents.
