Too many replacements in this 5000K to 6000K replacement, that's a full 65K, that's 150 lumens less than Viribright, which was discontinued; When used alongside a 1350 lumen lamp, this 1200 lumen lamp appears equivalent in color and brightness in the environment. The difference between the bulbs is one watt, this one is 12 watts, ie less lumens; In general I'm happy with the bulb, but this bulb is made in China while the above bulb is made in Vietnam and moreover this bulb is not UL listed. Both contain no mercury. The price difference is about $5 and this lamp is larger, although the real issue is the durability, if it lasts as many hours as it should then it's great. I would give it an average rating and an overall good lightbulb. Why did I buy it, it was in stock; Power consumption is a little lower, good for general lighting.
