For verdor "SPLIT 3 PLUG LISTโ entice people to buy your products, especially when you have three different color options. be for CAT6 wire. I bought a CAT6 cable for a long term connection to the camera and wanted to avoid installing a POE injector at the mid point. Frustrated and thinking I was doing something wrong I went online to look up the specs for CAT5E and CAT6 and found that the wires in CAT5E are 24 AWG and those in CAT6 are 23 AWG. For beginners like me, the lower the number, the thicker the wire. When I checked the description of these connectors, it says the connectors accept both CAT5E and CAT6 cables. This is misleading as it also states that this applies to 24AWG conductors which only apply to CAT5E cable. Now I have to make another purchase, put these plugs aside, a waste of money and time, and again wait for the correct plugs to arrive. Check your conductors whether they are 23 AWG or 24 AWG and buy the right one for you to save money, time and effort. I hope this helps someone avoid my experience with these connectors. I double checked the list before posting this review and noticed a tab that says you have three color options. When you click on it you have three different connection options, they are all CAT6. I bought one that says CAT6 24awg. As far as I know, CAT6 only uses 23 AWG conductors, not 24 AWG, another way to confuse buyers.
