Amazing light + story why I bought it

Please read the whole review! A few weeks ago my betta that I had for 3 years died so after some deliberation I decided to get another one. I also wanted to refresh my aquarium, so I added more plants, replaced the permeable white gravel with black sand, and added some nice rocks. After draining, cleaning and setting up the tank I realized I needed good light to help the plants grow and give my new fish some light. I used to have an LED strip but it wasn't bright and some of the translucent plants were dying because it was too dark (although cockatiels like darker water) so I checked out Revain and bought this. And wow I was amazed! This light has three color options; blue, yellowish white and violet white. In the third option (purple white), you can change the amount of blue and white light, as well as the brightness, to achieve the hue you want. You can also adjust the brightness and this thing can get REALLY bright! (Although I don't recommend it for fish) In the photos I only have the light on the second lowest brightness setting and it's perfect. This is also great lighting for photographing fish (I took the pictures with my iPhone 11). You can also set a timer to turn off the light after 6 hours, 10 hours or 12 hours. The lamp also looks very simple and modern, which is why I got it. So I got a white bantam opal and two albino armored catfish. I choose a Betta with a low temperament and not so aggressive that it gets along with its tankmates. It's been a few days and they're doing great together! They don't fight at all and they have no problem being close to each other :) I wanted to get more corridors than they should be in schools, but my tank is 5.5 gallons and I don't think it will be enough have space. placing them all together with the betta. I think these two will be fine for now as they are babies and growing up. PS: VERY IMPORTANT! of them and the right food to give them. Many people think that bettas are beginner pets, but they are not and no effort is made to make them a good aquarium to live in. People keep them in small bowls of artificial plastic plants that can clip their fins, and then feed them pellets their entire lives without giving them any real food that's good for their diet. And you don't have to be a fish care master to give your pet a good life. I'm a 19 year old girl, not an old guy by the way.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
