I am a jewelry designer with very ruffled earlobes. They usually itch after a few minutes if I wear earrings that say "hypoallergenic", "surgical steel" or even "925 sterling silver". Through trial, error and research I have found that products with this label may still contain nickel. This may be a lower percentage than other products not labeled as such, but still enough to cause contact dermatitis, itching, and discharge. So I'm very suspicious of what I use in my projects and pass on to my clients. Today I switched to a pair of Eco-Fused French Hooks on a pair of .925 Sterling earrings, which caused a lot of irritation. I am happy to say that I was able to wear them for 12 hours with absolutely no discomfort. From now on, Eco-Fused will be the only French crochet I use. I just wish they could make them in gold and rose gold, as well as flat liners so I can use them in all my projects. how about these guys
