Good quality scale, same accuracy as the scale in my doctor's office

I ordered this scale to help me lose weight. I weighed 185 pounds. Bloated to nearly 300 pounds in high school and now weighs 215 pounds. If you're reading this review, you're probably trying to sift through the endless amount of scales available online and in various retail stores. I was initially concerned about the price of this scale as there are many other scales in this price range that have been reported to stop working after a few months. I'm one of those buyers willing to pay MORE for a quality product. I decided to try this scale and I have to say I am happy with the product. Price ------------------ I think $30 is a fair price for this scale, if anything it could be a bit more expensive. Quality/Function ---------------------------------- ----1. Stainless steel looks good, no complaints here.2. The digital screen is very easy to read with black on a blue background.3. I'm 13ft and can still step on the scale.4. Nice auto shut off feature. Accuracy --------- To be honest, I doubted a scale in this price range would be accurate. To test the accuracy, I weighed myself at my doctor's office on one of their "professional" scales and weighed myself immediately when I got home. The difference was only about 1-2 tenths of a pound (0.1 or 0.2). I personally find this variance acceptable and am pleasantly surprised by this accuracy. I bought this scale in September 2016 and as of December 2016 it is still working great! I will update my review if there are any issues.
