I have bought several brands/styles of water shoes for my 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old how many do they need for water days in the camp. This is by far the best water shoe for your needs. The sole is beautiful and thick, strong and durable; The toe protection is made of the same thick rubber as the outsole. These were the only water shoes (of the four I bought) with toe protection. I think this is a great feature. just in case. ! The strap is very reliable; It goes through an extra loop at the top and the velcro is strong and secure. The shoes are light and breathable, and the material dries quickly. They're a little big, but that's not a problem. Pretty decent quality; They've taken a few beatings, which is impressive. Overall I am very happy with these water boots and would highly recommend them if you are looking for something simple and affordable.
