Does not dissipate static electricity.

So I chose this more expensive mat over others because they try to list resistivity while others claim ESD safety without giving numbers. With a measuring device measuring several hundred megohms and contact surfaces of any size very close together, the mat is "open". I'm assuming the mat is regular silicone that doesn't dissipate static electricity. I give 2 stars because the carpet is actually very nice.
