If you have an SUV and a tall windshield, you're probably fine. In shorter cars like mine it's too bulky and there's limited places to mount it on the visor because you have to avoid this unit's deep bracket vanity mirror. In a week of use I opened it once when I got into a big ditch. On the plus side, it looks well made and nicely lined. It opens with some moisture, which is nice - it doesn't just pop open and spill your glasses. I'm sticking with the Superior Essentials Sun Visor/Vent Sunglass Holder, which is far less obtrusive and small enough to close the visor from the front or back.
