I got this to prevent my new mattress from getting blood over a long period of time and to prevent my potty trained son from accidentally sleeping with us at night and I don't quite trust him he misses it during sleep. with us. So it was bought. That's great. It got blood on it twice and it saved my mattress and washed the blood off completely. and my son had an accident while sleeping with us and it saved our mattress again. 0 leak. I usually wash it with sheets and then just air dry it because I just don't think the plastic won't become brittle after so many dryers. But that's just my own superstition. I'm not sure how he's holding up well. I only have one problem: I get hot for him at night. It doesn't seem like a HUGE problem because I only turn on my fan, but it's not as hot as they say.
