I've had them for about two years now and I really like them! I haven't used many disposable bags before, but reusable zippers have made some things so much easier! For example I buy meat and sometimes groceries in bulk, they are stronger than freezer bags and I can bag groceries, squeeze the air out and leave them in the freezer for a few months. Have bought other brands and this is by far my favorite. They're a bit smaller but the zipper holds up much better than my other bags (which I've had half the time) and in my opinion they're worth it! Washing is very easy, just try not to use dishwashing liquid. My husband used to turn them inside out to dry but I stopped because the zipper might break. I just hang them on kitchen utensils or the handle of a frying pan on the dryer. Yes, they need time to dry, but that's not the end of the world. If you're in a hurry I also managed to grab a cleaning cloth and dry the inside very well, but you can't always hit the corners. As for the smell and stains. I don't normally put things like onions in it, but even after two years I haven't noticed a strong smell from them. However, I get spots when I add spaghetti or curry sauce. I have several packets that always turn yellow from the curry! I prefer flat packs, but the larger stand up packs are perfect for half an avocado. I left the avocado in for a few days and when opened it was just a light brown! All in all, my favorite brand and the most issues I've had with other people is what's happening with reusable bags. But they are totally worth not buying single use plastic!
