Fits 2008 Mazda 3 in parts
The factory shifter fell apart on my '08 Mazda 3. It was a good replacement for the money. It weighs slightly less than the OE pen. The finished product is higher than the factory product. I connected it to the DEWHEL Shift KNOB trunk latch. I did not use the lock nut that came with it. You will need to remove the washer that comes on the shifter from the factory with pliers to allow the trunk latch to be adjusted as low as possible. I pulled out the console trim/shift boot and zippered the boot to the bracket from the inside.
