I bought two black fabrics to match the 4-leg tables I'm using at the outdoor market on Saturdays this summer. I was glad I could get them quickly with primer and put them with my other stuff for the event. I used them for the first time last Saturday and in the afternoon I noticed that both had a spot where the hem was fraying. It wasn't pinned up, but simply had an overcast seam along the edge. The fabrics touched the ground on all sides, and the wind seemed to blow them back and forth on the sidewalk at times, and the hem just ripped the fabric off. If I try to hem them, I have to take an inch off the frayed fabric and then tuck them in, which shortens the length by at least another 12 inches. I bought them because I didn't have time to make them myself, so I'm not happy to have them redone.
