UPDATE: After a few months the collar stopped charging. I'm very sad because it really worked to curb my dog's incessant barking. HOWEVER, I contacted the seller and he promptly sent me a replacement collar. The replacement came within a few days, it wasn't difficult to come to an agreement with the seller. I have contacted them via email. They tried to fix any problems and when it turned out that the collar had simply died, they immediately offered to send a replacement. especially after I put it on her and took it on a car ride and she didn't seem to mind at all. In fact, she didn't even seem to notice. I decided to put it on for a while if it barks all the time anyway. To my great surprise, after wearing the collar a few times, I noticed that she no longer barks continuously in the yard. Now she will bark a few times and stop. No pun intended, but I'm shocked! When my girl is in bark mode, NOTHING will stop her. Can't wait to see how she handles our hikes. I like going hiking with her but everyone else hates it because she barks all the time. The collar does not appear to be painful. When activated, she doesn't react negatively (and believe me, I've observed it), not even her ear twitches. The only downsides, in my opinion, were: USB for charging. All you have to do is hope you have it (and you probably have), use your computer, or buy one. The instructions weren't very clear or detailed.
