Review on Panasonic SL CT730 Portable CD Player by Chris Smotherman

Okay, I have a confession. I actually bought last year's 720 on sale and haven't tried this year's model yet. However, if this is anything like last year, this should be the ONLY player you're looking at, whether you listen to MP3 CDs or regular CDs. First, the rechargeable batteries and backlit display are great. Stop buying AA batteries every few weeks, just charge your device with the included batteries. However, if you prefer, you can purchase AA batteries to extend battery life! Finally the sound is perfect. It is rich and clear and pleasant in every way. It sounds better than both of my old CD players, my Panasonic mini system (2-way speakers) and even my Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers! I don't know what it does, but it just sounds so smooth and the bass, mids and treble all sound perfect no matter what you're listening to. -CD with this than with my Sony because of the smaller screen size. However, this is easy to overlook when looking at the price and value of this device. Highly recommended
