No big deal. The cat is more of an inconvenience, and the granddaughter squeezed her all the time so as not to squeak. However, the kickstand on the back is my biggest issue and my fault for not checking it out. It only works in landscape, not portrait, so sometimes I have to stand it up. I also had to make a slot in the hole for the connector. And the handles get in the way when trying to charge the iPad.
