The material is too weak.
Having only used this backpack less than 10 times and never carrying anything very heavy, pointed or sharp in any way (let's say a book), I noticed yesterday that the backpack has two holes. lower part. Very disappointing, I expected more durability from this backpack given the brand. I'm not sure what the warranty is on this item, I would expect a replacement as REI does in most cases. Verdict: If you're looking for a rugged backpack, this isn't for you: it's not made out of ballistic material, but rather cheap, flimsy nylon.
