Update: I've since gone back to my trusty Japanese HG mascara. It's a good mascara, but in the end it's not exactly waterproof because I get mascara smudges in the middle of the day, which never happens with my HG. Apologies for moving from 4 stars to 2 stars. I've also started using another oil based cleanser and it removes super waterproof mascara. I have false straight lashes that don't hold their curl which means I have to use waterproof mascara to keep the curl. I've been using a brand of Japanese mascara for years that I really like, but removing it at the end of the day has become a chore. Although I use an oil-based cleanser that removes all other makeup very easily, the Japanese waterproof mascara refuses to wash off completely. Meet L'Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara - easy to apply, doesn't clump, doesn't frizz, builds dark and best of all, it's easy to remove with my oily cleanser. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I want it to give my lashes more volume than advertised even though I applied 2 coats but this will be my future mascara and I'm glad I don't have one a specialist shop has to pay a high price. for a Japanese brand. Winner!
