Not size XL, fits more like a snug size. My daughter was very happy with the Cinderella shirts so I'm sad to have to go back. For reference, underneath is an MGA LOL Surprise t-shirt from Target, which fits her because it has more room in the stomach area, and underneath is a plain Cat & Jack XL t-shirt (Target brand). Another thing I noticed was that the sleeves were very small (roughly) for the size of the shirt. Not sure why sizing is defined as fitting in a hard glove. My child loves their breathable clothes. size and good luck because the shirts are cute. I usually have much better luck with the spotted zebra. a real shame. 2 stars for style.
