More expensive but well made.

The workmanship of these mittens is superb, the materials are superb, my son's hand is not yet big enough to fit properly so I was able to easily remove it without the velcro or zipper to open, I hope it lasts at least two winters as it's not exactly cheap, and it's such a well made product that if it gets too big I'll probably buy another pair! I like that the sleeves are long, I put them on before putting on the coat, the sleeves are almost to the elbows, which is great because there is no gap between the coat and the mitten, it needs to stay warm, we Haven't played with it in the snow so don't try it, the water is still the stable part but chances are it will do what it says on the tin. Very happy with it, wish it was available in adult size. To update! It's waterproof, my son finally played in the snow a few times, every time we went out for half an hour I checked his hands afterwards and they were warm and dry!
