Review on 🎨 Enhanced Martha Stewart Crafts Dry Embossing Kit by Lori Aguirre

The stencils are beautiful, the pen is strong. The flap of the box tells how to use the stencil and pen. If you read and follow the instructions, the dry stamping is convenient to use and the embossing is very beautiful. To use this item, you basically place paper on top of (not under) the stencils. The only way to do the embossing is to shine a light under the paper/stencils so you can see where to trace. This means that you need a lightbox for this. I think this item is rated lower, possibly because it has been misappropriated. Some of the gaps between the stencils were so small I can't even trace them with a pencil. However, if the set has been used as intended, the tabs will come out exactly as shown in the picture on the box. In fact, placing the stencil under the paper ensures that you don't over-emboss and puncture the paper. Another advantage is that when tracing with the pen, you can accidentally wipe outside the stencils, but the error will not appear on the right side of the paper. The only downside is that you need a light source. It's not easy to stick everything to the window and try to keep track. It wasn't obvious just reading the back of the box. I think this is a big mistake in their advertising.
