I was hesitant to purchase this product as other negative reviews reported that it did not stick well to the bathtub. Some rugs will stick to the tub as soon as you drop them and you don't have to do anything else. It is not so. It will stick, but you'll have to put quite a bit of pressure on each of the little suction cups to make it stick. I've gotten into the habit of only using the suction cups on the outside edges of the mat - they hold up well and I don't have to put in as much effort. Once it's down, if you press hard enough on any suction cups, it won't budge. Aside from that issue (which I deducted a star for), the rug is large (covers about 2/3 of my tub) and prevents my 11 month old daughter from sliding in the tub toward the drain. She can crawl around the tub on this rug and I don't have to worry about her slipping. I like that it can be hung over the shower head; I even hung it on a towel rail.
