I'm so glad I got this.
Slotted bobbin box is worth it! All my coils from different manufacturers fit perfectly. Not too tight and tight. And it's such an improvement that the bobbins are held in such a way that the thread doesn't unravel in the box! However, the coils stick out so far that they can be easily removed even with the tips of my not-so-little fingers. But if you clean their tops or push the box, they won't come out. I also appreciate the simple but very secure clasp that prevents accidental opening of the box even if it slips over other items. No foam or plastic smell.
