When programming the key to lock and unlock the doors, follow the instructions provided, but go ahead. quickly. I got stuck on the step that said to press the lock and unlock button at the same time and then press the lock or unlock button because I was holding them for too long. It took me 5 times to get it right - I just had to quickly go through the steps.
