My cat, Salem, has skin allergies and is constantly grooming or chewing on itchy skin. He will constantly lick off any medication that is put on his coat, which will delay healing, and he will have small bald spots all the time. He takes an oral medication that begins to heal the problem areas, but reverts to the habit of licking and biting himself. He did this so often that I woke up in the middle of the night as he licked and chewed his skin! I put this on him and so far he has not been able to reach the itchy areas and I can see the topical medication is doing its job taking away the redness and itching. At first he became a statue and didn't move since he was new, but now he walks with him and can drink and eat with no problem. I recommend!
