So I don't use them for packaging so I can't confirm how much they are are holding up (although I would imagine them to be pretty good as they are thick and strong). I use them for my hamster. When we brought her home she built a house out of a large cardboard candy roll, we cut a hole in it and cut off the end on one side. She started writing in one direction, so I went in search of another. I had no idea they came in such great qualities. But it's well received: if a roll gets too stinky, they throw it away and get a new one. I ended up cutting them in half because they are quite long for their cage and I cut a hole in the side to have another outlet and leave one of the lids. She loves her little house and wouldn't sleep anywhere else so overall a great purchase. They take up a lot of storage space, but it was worth the purchase. I'm having a lot of trouble cutting a hole in it and cutting it in half, but that speaks volumes for its strength. It's thick and will keep things safe.
