Pretty but gets wet right away

Good as a layer but not for use alone as ski pants. They are not waterproof at all. At the same time, they have a nice shape, are very soft and have a large, wide elastic band inside that allows them to stay in place. Should be great for hiking in 40 degree weather. or something but again not for skiing as they get wet right away. At 5'6" and 135 pounds, the medium was too tall. A small would probably be perfect.
