My son likes these pants very much and I think they are cool and funny and also practical. It's a bit big for a 5 year old but I thought I had planned ahead when I received the size 6-7 as most of his other pants are a size 5. He loved them from the moment they arrived and wanted to try them on. , so I left it and it turned out that they already fit. Also between him and my 2 year old the drawstring didn't last long (they pulled it out right away) but the waistband is nice and stretchy so it's not a problem unless you don't mind going through two small holes on the drawstring can. Overall I would definitely recommend if you are aware of sizing issues and buy a size larger than you normally need.
