Adorable little scratching post. You will need some of your own tools for assembly

This is an adorable little scratching post. I put it on one side of the sofa instead of on a table because my cats love to scratch that armrest. It's the perfect height for where I put it. However, this means that it is a rather small and undersized scratching post. Good for small spaces. And functional as it kept my 3 cats from scratching my couch. Assembly was easy. There weren't that many things. But I strongly recommend additional tools. I used a utility knife to poke holes in the faux fur cases so I could push the studs through. The screws can then be tightened with the Allen key provided. The ramp/notepad is attached with screws. The Allen key does not have a Phillips tip. You will therefore need your own Phillips screwdriver for the screws. Finally, there are no pre-drilled screw holes. Either use your own muscles to drive the screws into the MDF boards or use an electric drill/screwdriver like I did. It got the job done in seconds. When properly assembled it is quite durable. All three of my cats weigh less than 8 pounds.
